(1) Civil servants, soldiers or officers of the Nepali Army and Police who contribute to peacekeeping operations abroad or who have done exemplary work to maintain peace within the country at the call of the United Nations may be awarded peace medals.
(2) The design, shape and plaque of the medal as per sub-rule (1) shall be as mentioned in Appendix Three Schedule-12.
